  1. Hogan Lovells, Washington, D.C.

    I am currently working as an associate in the Infrastructure, Energy, Resources and Projects at the DC office of Hogan Lovells.

  2. International Finance Corporation, Mexico

    I worked as a secondee in the legal department of IFC, assisting the investment and advisory teams in the structuring and implementation of their projects. I have experience in most of the countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.

    Relevant projects include:​​​
    1. US$100 Million loan to Ecuatorian banks for financing their SMEs lending portfolio;​
    2. US$40 Million credit line to a Paraguayan company to help finance their agrobusiness;
    3. Sale of IFC's participation in a major Mexican bank for US$110 Million;
    4. US$10 Million loan to an Argentinian university for the financing of the construction of a new campus in Buenos Aires; and
    5. US26$ Million structured financing for the development of a portfolio of mezzanine financing to Mexican SMEs.
  3. Hogan Lovells, Madrid 
    I worked as an associate at the Madrid office of Hogan Lovells for 3 years, both at the Real Estate and Banking and Finance departments.

    Relevant transactions include:

    1.  Advised a "bad bank" on the transfer of risk assets and non-strategic business units from a failing bank group;

    2. Advised a German investment fund on the acquisition for EUR40Million of a four-star hotel in Barcelona in a sale and leaseback transaction;

    3. Advised an English investment fund in the management, leasing, and further sale of one of the major shopping centers in Spain.

While at Georgetown, I became the representative of the LLM students at the Student Bar Association and I also became the vice-president of the International Law Society. 

My LLM was entirely focused on international business, taking courses such as International Finace & Regulation, International Project Finance and Investmenta and Finance of Real and Personal Property.

JD (Licenciatura en Derecho - E-1)

Universidad Pontificia de Comillas - ICADE, Madrid

I obtained by JD in one of the best universities in Spain, become a represenative of the students in the University's senate (the decision making body), in which we created the new education programs that the University offers now.

Sitka is an investment vehicle focused on pre-seed and seed financing for technology based start-ups. We analyze the companies and invest in those that we believe have high growth potential and innovative business models.

My main responsabilities have been (i) organizing the investment forums that the company made for start-ups to present their projects; (ii) keeping the relationship with the portfolio companies; and (iii) collaborate with the other partners in the investment decitions.
